ALEXANDRIA, Va. - To help anglers get more out of their fishing, BoatUS Angler has signed up to sponsor the Hook n' Look fishing show, which offers a unique underwater perspective in the field of fishing TV shows.

Broadcast on the Versus cable network and premiering its first show of the fourth season December 27, Hook n' Look's father-and-son team of professional angler Kim Stricker and his son Danny, don dive gear at fishing destinations across the country. "As a lure goes below the surface the cameras follow, revealing how the fish relate to the underwater habitat, where the bait fish lie, and how the lure is presented," said BoatUS Angler's Steve Levi. "This is the kind of stuff that is usually out of sight, and it's really eye opening."

"Most of us know how to read our electronics," continued Levi. "However, Hook n' Look will then dive on the same location to see what it really looks like underwater, demystifying the angler's experience. It's fishing from the fish's perspective, and it makes you a smarter angler. Being a provider of helpful information is exactly what BoatUS Angler is all about."

BoatUS Angler is a membership and services program from the nation's largest boat owners group, BoatUS. Services include on-the-water towing, roadside help for disabled boat trailers and their tow vehicles, and boat insurance that comes with the features that anglers need.

The TV show will also include segments that ride along with the BoatUS on-the-water towing fleet, the largest in North America.

"BoatUS has been around since 1966, and I think a lot of anglers really don't know what a great value BoatUS Angler membership is," said Kim Stricker. "We're going to show why their services, information and advocacy are important to have."
