Castle Rock Media Partners with Arctic Cat on New “Outdoors TV”
Creative Concept Includes Management Makeovers on Nationwide Properties
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – Well known ATV and off-road vehicle manufacturer Arctic Cat has partnered with the team at Castle Rock Media Group to launch a new hunting and land management TV show, “Arctic Cat’s Outdoors Television”.
Join Keith Dailey, Dan Brunk and the Pro Staff Team as they take hunting properties needing management improvements and give them an extreme “Management Makeover” in less than a week. This creative new show brings volunteers and professionals together to add food plots, hang tree stands, put up fencing, place game cameras, plant seed and give the properties a speedy Management Makeover. Some properties may be for sale or for lease, and others might just need management but don’t have the resources to do so.
Professional biologists will give a management plan for the property, explaining what needs to be done to ensure proper land and deer management. The Arctic Cat Outdoors team will roll up their sleeves and get to work on that week’s property renovation, using Arctic Cat’s products, in addition to other land management tools. During the following hunting season, the team heads back into the field and hunt on that property and show the audience how the property was transformed for better land and deer management. The show will visit more than ten states this year filming for the new series, which is scheduled to launch in April 2009.
“This is going to be a great season and the new concept gives our viewers something exciting to watch and to learn from!” says show host Keith Dailey. Keith’s partner Dan Brunk came up with this idea last summer and they have been working on the details for months. Brunk states, “We wanted to produce a land management show that was more than just land management, but that included actually working on a property, then hunting on that land when the management had done its job.
Arctic Cat’s John Tranby comments “We’re excited to partner with the new Outdoors TV show and look forward to showcasing our products in both the Management Makeover and hunting segments. It will be interesting to see these properties change so quickly and then watch them evolve over time. What a great concept.”
Arctic Cat’s Outdoors TV will air on the Pursuit Channel (DirecTV Channel 608) and In Country Television (DISH Network Channel 230) five times per week starting in April 2009. Promotion of the show includes print advertising, pre-launch TV commercials and cross promotional usage on various retail items.
