Ellett Brothers Wins Academy of Excellence Award

Chapin, S.C. - Ellett Brothers was named the 2009 Distributor of the Year by
The Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence on July 24th in Connecticut,
reaching an unprecedented achievement by accepting their fourth consecutive
accolade in this category.

Hewitt Grant, President/CEO of Ellett Brothers, expressed how pleased and
excited he was "to accept this prestigious award for a 4th year in a row."
"It's a great tribute to all employees who give their best on a daily basis
by taking care of our great customers and representing over 300 suppliers
with pride, dignity, and integrity. We truly thank the Academy, the Shooting
Industry, FMG Publications, and everyone that recognized our efforts and
voted for us. Most of all we are grateful and proud to be in the shooting
business and to give back to the industry in order to protect our future,"
Hewitt added.

Consisting of 500 distinguished industry executives, gun dealers, and
outdoor writers, The Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence honored 13
companies and one individual from 44 deserving nominees at the 18th annual
awards ceremony for their contributions to the Shooting Industry. Ellett
Brothers was nominated for taking great pride in serving and supporting the
independent retailer for 76 years, for continued work with manufacturers to
develop new and innovative products, for continued support of industry
organizations, and for their commitment to the future of the shooting sports
by working with organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America and the
Youth Shooting Sports Foundation..
