Imperial Schrade Introduces Worlds First “Out The Front” Assisted Opening Knife

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -  The Imperial Schrade Knife Company, a division of Taylor Brands LLC has released the worlds first out the front assisted opening knife.  The SCHOTF (Black) and the SCHOTFG (Grey) are currently available at Smoky Mountain Knife Works, Blueridge Knives, Kroll, Moteng and Self Defense Supply. 

President of Worldwide Sales, Morgan Taylor says “that while Schrade maintains a firm grip on the traditional knife market, we saw the need to develop a broad spectrum of tactical type knives.  We already have in our inventory several models of assisted opening knives.  The out the front assisted opening knife will add an entirely new dimension to the assisted opening knife market.”

The blade of the out the front assisted opening knife recesses into the handle of the knife and is secured by blade lock and a safety.
