New Mountain Lion Photo, Hoax Making the Rounds

Written by Brad Dokken in the Grand Forks Herald. A trailcam photo of 3 cougars on a deer carcass did not originate in Minnesota, as an e-mail currently circulating in the region alleges. A Minn. DNR official reports that the trio of lions were most likely photographed near Keystone, S.D., in the far southwestern corner of the state. One of the cats is wearing a yellow ear tag indicating it is part of a South Dakota research project. Click here for full story.
